Shur’s original website lacked the visual clarity and design sophistication expected in the fintech space. I partnered with the Founder to redesign and develop a modern, responsive website that reflects the innovation of their product. Through the use of rich gradients, crisp typography, and custom graphics, the new design communicates trust, approachability, and forward-thinking energy—positioning the brand to stand out in a competitive market.
Before & After
The original Shur website leaned heavily into a user-focused, friendly aesthetic that felt more consumer-facing than investor-ready. While not ineffective, it lacked the polish and strategic tone expected of a fintech company preparing for a seed round. My redesign shifted the visual language to convey a more sophisticated and future-facing brand. By introducing a clearer emphasis on market positioning, the new site better supports investor conversations while still hinting at the consumer experience to come.
Brand Identity
While the logo and type system were already in place, I led a shift in the brand’s visual direction to better reflect the innovation and credibility of a fintech startup. Moving away from a softer, lifestyle-oriented style, I introduced a more modern, graphic-forward aesthetic using rich gradients, dimensional visuals, and custom illustrations. These elements helped elevate Shur’s brand presence and reinforced key themes—data-driven insights, nationwide reach, and financial impact—across pitch decks, investor materials, and the website.
